We've finally done it! Our blog is up and running at last. I'll start with our most recent hiking trip. We went to Snowqualmie Pass with our friends the Hudsons. They were very good sports even while hiking through snow and losing the trail...twice. What's wrong with a little adventure? Every time we go hiking I wonder why we don't do it more often. There is something so calming and refreshing about being out in nature.
Matt brought his water purifier and we drank from the river. Mmmmm...ice cold water. Lucy's imagination of course was up and running. After Miles started carrying her on his shoulders she said, "Stop if the ketchup starts dripping off the leaves". Good advice. She also liked to speak spanish to any passersby. At least she calls it spanish. Ask her and she'll teach you how to sneeze in spanish.
You know those days in your life that you look back with fondness? This was one of those days.

Woo Hoo! I've been meaning to answer your email and just wishing I could check a blog to see what's going on with your cute family. My wish has come true! So glad Lucy is back to normal, Spanish and ketchup and everything! Can't wait to see your next post, Abby will be thrilled!
