New Occupation

For all you pet owners out there, your search for inexpensive pet care is over! Lucy is now a practicing veterinarian. A while back she approached my friend Rocio about a check up for her dog Rocky....and she was only going to charge six cents! Of course Rocio jumped at the chance for this high quality pet care and Lucy wrote it on her calendar.

For weeks Lucy would ask me, "Mom! Is today the day of Rocky's appointment?" Well, we finally made it happen. Rocky was an excellent patient, even when Lucy pulled a thermometer out of her bag. Yikes! We told Lucy it must be an axillary thermometer. Phew! She bought it.

Emily took great notes as Lucy's assistant. Rocio paid the fee and gave each of them quite a tip. I think I may jump in on this too. Maybe Lucy needs a billing department. I could do that....

I love it when you put up a post. I just love your little family. They are always up to something, with those oversized immaginations of theirs. My favorite thing about Lucy though is that it is always serious...

Very cute....

Zeke needs a bath if she's interested!

I thought my dogs were the only ones who would "accidentally" end up on the table. Our little dog Daisy, is the most human canine there ever was. I swear that she can talk and understand every word of English that I speak. When we eat, she whines... not for food, but for us to pull over a chair so that she can sit around the table with us too. She never, well... rarely, makes it up on the table. I am so glad that children make good use of their imaginations. Too cute.

Oh darn, I wish she had been in the profession when we lived there. Her fees are much more reasonable than who we were seeing!
