Star Sightings

When I was a kid, our annual family camping trip would sometimes include a trip to a little theater in West Yellowstone called The Playmill. I loved going there! I remember watching Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pippin, and other great musicals. We even had a family friend who was part of the cast one year. Another year I remember standing outside the theater staring at the clouds of smoke in the sky from the infamous Yellowstone National Park fire.

This year was the first year I've been able to take my children to The Playmill. It was so much fun. During the opening acts of Footloose Lucy turned to me with excitement and exclaimed, "Mom! I think I see one of the Jonas Brothers!"

What?! How does my five year old know about the Jonas Brothers?

As chance would have it, during intermission this particular actor was assigned to our row for the selling of concessions. Lucy ran up to him and said, "You are rockin' out in this show!!" He laughed and I told him about her comment. Of course he was a little busy and I didn't think he had heard me until halfway through the second half of the show. One of the actresses brought a licorice rope with the following note for Lucy...
